Outdoor Poem

Winter’s Day

The sunlight glistening off the snow
People’s faces with a winter’s glow
Ice freezing on the trees
A chilling, cool, winter’s breeze
Animals beginning to hibernate
The ice frozen for people to skate
All bundled up in your winter coat
In Lake Ontario, not a single boat
Snowflakes falling from the sky
The bare trees reaching high
The sun beginning to fade
The end of another Canadian winter’s day
